Preparation of the Bride

As the South Land of the Holy Spirit, we have a particular call to holiness. The Holy Spirit must fill us with His holiness to prepare us to be the bride of Christ, dressed in white robes of purity. We are called to have our supply of oil and lamps ready to light the way for the coming King, to keep alert (Matt 25:1-13) and to use our talents wisely (Matt 25:14-30).

Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready. It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Revelation 19:7-8

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; I Peter 2:9

As God’s Light Horse army, we must walk in His light and carry His light in purity of character and integrity of purpose.

Church

Many in the church still have little idea about God’s unique purpose for the ‘Southern Lands of the Holy Spirit’.

The ANZAC victory in Beersheba is connected to our national biblical destiny.

Anointing and Destiny

Not only did the Allies break 400 years of subjugation to Ottoman rule in World War I, but also in World War II and the second Gulf War, God used our troops to break through, defend and protect Israel. In World War II ANZAC troops played a significant part in the defeat of Rommel’s army at El Alamein, in Egypt, stopping them from attacking Israel from the south. In the first few days of the 2003 Gulf War the Australian SAS troops were deployed to dismantle the missile launchers in the Western deserts of Iraq thus preventing Scuds being fired into Israel. Our nations have a special anointing to protect Israel and bring the breakthrough.

Our two ANZAC countries are bound together in a common heritage and spiritual destiny. God destined the South Lands of the Holy Spirit, to be set apart as sheep nations (Matt 25:31-46) to bless His people Israel and be blessed (Gen 12:1-3). As Israel was set apart, so the ANZAC nations are set apart. Even Balaam could not curse them.

As I see him from the top of the rocks, and I look at him from the hills; behold, a people who dwells apart, and will not be reckoned among the nations. Numbers 23:9

Australia and New Zealand cannot come into their destiny until the church recognises this calling and leads the nation to fulfil God’s purposes. The church must speak the prophetic word over the nation. Even Balak, the king of Moab, knew the power of the spoken word over the prophetic destiny of a nation.

For I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed. Numbers 22:6

Replacement theology and its offshoot, liberation theology, are blinding the church and leading many astray. The spiritual Anzac army will call the church to fix its eyes on the Word of God and the coming Messiah, not world opinion or human pity. The church is being called to stand with God’s purposes for Israel, and not become a silent bystander as happened with the rise of anti-Semitism in Nazi Germany. God will bless any people or nation that aligns with His Word, but cannot bless any religion or people group that rebels against Him or opposes His purposes; they will reap the curse. We must therefore preach His Word first and draw the nation and people into alignment in order to receive the blessing.

The Anzac Call to the church aims to:

  • to recognise that the ANZAC victory at Beersheba and the success of the Allied troops in the Middle Eastern campaign are tied to the fulfilment of biblical prophecy, the second coming of Jesus and the destiny of the South Lands of the Holy Spirit - Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific islands. A breakthrough anointing has been given to the ANZAC nations for the fulfilment of God’s purposes with the nation of Israel. As the church understands this, she can lead our nations into their destiny
  • to encourage the ANZAC values.
  • to teach the nation the history of the partition of Palestine as a homeland for Arabs and Jews.
  • to support the youth outreach.
  • to be involved in the celebrations of the nation.
  • to stand with the nation of Israel and bring her into her destiny
  • to bring Australia and New Zealand into their calling from God

Practical Suggestions

church 1The spiritual Anzac army is being called to mobilise the church to engage with the community and organise community and church events that will put Beersheba Day 2017 on the map, commemorating the centenary of this war victory. This could be in working with community organisations as below, offering a venue for an event or simply using the ANZACs and their values as preaching material or sermon illustrations. The nation needs to see that a small nation can have a huge impact when they embrace the ANZAC values of courage, sacrifice, mateship and perseverance.

Here are some suggestions to raise public awareness of ANZAC values and what the ANZAC horsemen did, in a community-friendly way.

  • Light Horse parades through major cities and towns where the Light Horse originated, on October 31, 2017, or the weekend before, as per ANZAC day but shorter. The spiritual ANZAC army recruits should work with local Australian Light Horse Association branches, Australian or New Zealand Army, RSL or Soldier On organisations and local government. They can stir up interest, put forward a proposal and offer to help organise.
  • Notify local TV and media of events. Write letters to your local Members of Parliament and newspapers. Send word around your friends, email network or facebook contacts.
  • Research local people who served as ANZAC horsemen and tell their stories. Ask around. Many Australians (especially in the country towns) have relatives who fought or died and would love an opportunity to voice this.
  • Contact local schools and try to organise a visit by an army or RSL representative to talk about the battle of Beersheba and Middle Eastern campaign. Let schools and teachers know of upcoming dates and material available on the web.
  • Organise a special exhibition at the local library, school, town hall, showgrounds or other suitable venue. Hold a community ‘Coo-ee’ event.
  • Contact the Jewish community to organise and perhaps help fund local event/s.
  • Tell the history of the partition of the Ottoman Empire and let people know that the Palestinians have already been given a homeland (Jordan).
  • church 2Write a letter to the Sydney Cricket Ground board to restore the Tibbie Cotter memorial and take the Ashes Test team to visit Beersheba on their way to England in 2017.
  • Hand out a package of water and ANZAC biscuits to children on October 31 (also the date of Halloween) and tell them the story of the victory at Beersheba in 1917.
  • Pray for your area and for the nation to grab this vision.

We want to see the nation rejoice in the victories, and embrace courage, mateship, perseverance and sacrifice as honourable values to which our people can aspire. church 3Our heroes need to be people who have accomplished something of value and honour – not bushrangers, suicidal pop stars, drugged footballers or drag queens. Especially on October 31, we want to encourage a better alternative to the demonic worship of Halloween.

It is also hoped that by teaching the history of the Partition plan (see tab History - partition) that people will realise that the Arabs already have a homeland provided by God and the United Nations and that our ANZAC nations will be strong supporters of Israel, against the rising tide of world opinion. Australia and New Zealand need to stand together again in truth and compassion.
